Businesses in one of San Francisco’s most popular food hubs are organizing a block party to celebrate the community and raise money for local nonprofit organizations.  The party is free to attend, but $20 will buy you a book of 10 tickets that can be used to savor items like short rib tacos from Namu Gaji and salted caramel ice cream from Bi-Rite Creamery.  As part of the festivities, amateur bakers are invited to show off their skills by entering the pie contest.  Click here to purchase food and beverage tickets and to register for the pie baking contest.
